Hi,
Well, its still raining here in Baiting Hollow, NY
on the rainiest day in two years. So far at least
2.97" of rain has fallen since midnight and its still
raining with some t-storms in the area. Rainfall
rates have risen up to 2.05"/hr. in the heavier bands
this evening, resulting in even more street and field
flooding than this morning. The total rainfall for
the month has already hit and exceeded normal levels.
The total currently sits at 3.99" for the last four
days. Its hard to believe that the first twenty days
of last month brought a way below normal .66" of rain
to the area and now we have had over 8" in the last
two weeks! The only benifit of all this water is not
having to water the lawn and no heat.
Artie
Baiting Hollow, NY
