QUOTES:

"CLINTON, Ill. - Tornadoes cut across central Illinois for the second time
in a week, destroying about 15 homes and damaging dozens of others, state
and county emergency officials said.

Some injuries from broken glass and debris were reported in DeWitt County
which received the brunt of the damage Friday evening but none appeared to
be life-threatening, said Fred Zacher, the county's emergency services
director.

Up to 50 homes in the county had tornado damage, said Scott Gauvin,
spokesman for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. Zacher estimated 15
homes may have to be torn down, and Gauvin said seven businesses also were
destroyed. "
