Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from the high desert of the Mid Atlantic.
May is not normally known as a windy month but it has been the last three
days. At 11:47 AM today the wind gusted out of the W at 53 mph. It is the
third straight day of brisk winds with a 54 mph gust on May 10 and a peaceful
47 mph gust on the May 11. My siding which has weathered over 100 50+ mph
gust days in the last five years along with two tornadoes has finally came
loose. I will have to nail it back up once the winds stop sometime on
Wednesday. Such is the life at my homestead in the hills.
