4:30 am. Eastern Time.

It may be the middle of the night but 8 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, 2
Severe Thunderstorm Watches, 2 Tornado Watches and a large are of Flood
Warnings are in effect from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania... thunder is being
heard here at WeatherMatrix HQ in Central PA, as it has been nearly every
day this week.

The SPC has issued a Slight Risk of Severe Thunderstorms for much of the
eastern 2/3 of the nation for Saturday including a Moderate risk in the
Midwest.

At 4am the WeatherMatrix StormMatrix is picking up 256 storms from the
National NEXRAD system, with 20 Mesocyclones being reported.
