"SINGAPORE : Rain fell all over most of Singapore on Thursday afternoon. At
its peak, several areas in the east were flooded and businesses came to a halt.

Roads in the east like Sims Avenue and Tanjong Katong Road were among the
worst hit. raffic slowed to a crawl in areas where water reached a high of
30 centimetres. According to residents from the Katong area, this was the
worst flood they have seen in 20 years."
