The NW part of South Carolina experienced strong winds earlier this
evening. Anderson reported a wind gust of 52mph, while my high gust
was 31mph. Clemson University recorded an unofficial gust of 55mph.
I have seen my temperature drop 30 degrees since late afternoon, from
a high of 74 to the present reading of 44.
