At 1:30PM, my daughter reported from Wolf Laurel Ski Resort, which is
North of Asheville,N.C., that the rain had changed to all snow, and
it was snowing moderately at the time. Here in NW South Carolina, my
temperature has dropped 3 degrees in the past hour, backed by a brisk
NE wind, gusting into the low 20's. The temperature is now 41.8. I
am enjoying a temperature rate drop of 2 degrees/hour. So far today,
I have recorded .63" of rain. We are excited about the prospects of
a little snow in this neck of the woods. I will try to keep the
posts updated, as the situation warrants it.
