[STORMREPORTS] Minnesota may get enough snow to break the drought.

Minnesota, depending what part you live in, has been in a moderate to severe drought for the last few years. Mostly because of the lack of rain and dry warm winters. This winter we have received more than 50 inches of snow. The month of Feb. we have received more than 17 inches of snow, double what we normally get. This could mean that the drought may be breaking finally. Spring will tell for sure. It's nice to actually see a decent layer of snow on the ground. It's funny though, because the state government decided to cut back on money for snow removal this year. Now they are having problems with not plowing the streets in the Metro areas wide enough for the fire trucks to get through.
