Intense cold has struck the Northeastern United States this Monday Morning,
March 3.
Here at WeatherMatrix HQ in State College, PA, we tied our ALL-TIME RECORD
LOW of 0 degrees F (since establishing HQ here in 1997). We also BROKE our
ALL-TIME RECORD LOW WINDCHILL with -30 degrees F at 5:17a.m. I will have
to check but I also do not recall such a sudden fall in temperatures
overnight; we plummeted from 36 at 9pm to 0 at 6am.
