RE: [STORMREPORTS] Correction on Space Shuttle Radar Image

From: JOHN MENARD (jnmenard{at}rmf.com)

I saw a TV WX broadcast by Bob Ryan (WRC ch.4 in Wash. DC) after reading
this. He appeared to tiptoe around this issue by showing the radar loop and
describing it as the trail of the shuttle. He never used the words "debris"
or "breakup". Nor did he say "ionized gas contrail". Perhaps was influenced
by Weathermatrix.

CNN and CBS are apparently spreading word that what was a common "ionized
gas contrail" was actually (short bongo intro) "...THE SHUTTLE'S _DEBRIS_
TRAIL!"
