My tardiness in preparing this report meant that most of the NC
snowstorm stories are no longer available. I did save webcam & traffic
cam shots, along w/ a few newspaper web sites photos in my album.
My "Dead of Winter '03" Photo album. It opens with the Outer Banks snow
storm on Jan 23rd. Then pictures from Norfolk & Atlanta, followed by
images created by the Artic blast. It concludes with temps & graphics
associated with cold air.

====== Shuttle Columbia, RIP:
If anybody has not seen the radar loop from Saturday from the debris when Shuttle Columbia broke apart, it is available in a loop at http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/030202/161/369ah.html&e=2&ncid=996 . I also have a vidcap still at http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=4003288&a=30417851&p=62612997&f=0 .
There is additional information from NASA at http://www.nasa.gov/columbia/ . NASA plans on news conferences at about 11:30am ET and 4:30pm ET daily (except Tuesday due to the memorial service at 1pm ET). Live coverage on NASA tv, & will be shown on C-SPAN 1 or 2 live when possible, and on tape at night.
The Nacogdoches, TX area seemed to have the largest impact of the debris field. Local coverage is available from these outlets: http://www.ktre.com/ http://www.dailysentinel.com/ ===== And Finally for those who live in the Washington DC tv market, or have connections here, this story about is about the weather anchors.
