"The tornado swept in from the sea, hit facilities at Limassols new port,
tore containers off trucks, uprooted trees, ripped off roofs and overturned
cars. Damage was also reported further east in the district of Larnaca.
Tornados are a common occurrence on the southeastern coast of Cyprus but
are rarely as violent as yesterdays storm."
