Hello,
It is currently snowing and 11º outside. The
fact that its snowing at 11º here in Baiting Hollow,
NY is very rare. By snowing right now, this arctic
blast has just reset a record it established last
Saturday night. 11º is now the lowest temperture at
which precipitation has occured for my location for
the past eight years, the old record was 13º.
Aside from the snow, today continued the cold
streak with a high of 17º and a low of 9º. The
windchill has been below zero all day, averaging -3º
(-8º old formula) for the day. Just in the last few
minutes it has dumped down to -10º (-30ºold formula)
with moderate snow falling.
Artie
Baiting Hollow
