Greetings all,
Monaca PA, in Beaver County, 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh we reached a
low of 1.0 degrees the night of 1/21/2003 to 1/22/2003, the high today was
17.7 degrees, man it is cold. The forecast looks as if we may see some snow
and cloud tonight, so the low will be no lower than five degrees. We still
have 2.5 inches of snow, 3 two days ago, but due to sublimation, 1/2" has
turned to gas. If we get four more days of this, we can go for the 5th
longest cold streak for this area, set in 1968.
Have a great day,
Kevin Lowrie
