Hello,
Today's high was 18.2º, becoming the coldest
daily high temperaure, here in Baiting Hollow, in the
past two years. Add to that windchills of -6º(-26º
old formula) this morning, which made for one COLD
day. That's not all. Tonight at 8:30pm. the
temperature plummited to 4.4º, which is only a hair
above the seven year record low of 2.6º set in 2000.
A murcury thermometer (located right next to the
sensor that recorded 4º) and one other thermometer on
the property both recorded lows of 0º, 0.0º and -0.2º
respectivly.
Right now another long unseen event is taking
place. For the first time in at least a decade it is
snowing while the temperature is 13º. I have never
seen it snow with the temperature below 26º here,
ever.
Artie
