Hello,
Well the snow has finally gotten here, as of 8pm.
There is about .5" of snow on the ground right now.
It is currently snowing very heavily with winds of
22mph. gusting to 42mph. whipping the snow around into
near blizzard conditions. The pressure is 29.01" and
the windchill at my location has dropped to a chilly
17º as the temperature continues to fall (now 30º).
Before the change over to snow, which happened in
seconds, my station recieved .80" of rainfall.
The seven year record low pressure for my location
was tied earlier today as this monster storm passed by
offshore. I recorded a pressure of 28.82" and an
offshore bouy reported 28.76" with 60mph. wind gusts.
Another bouy out there is reporting 20' waves.
