This is my first Storm Report. I am reporting from the N.E corner of
Pickens County, Georgia this Christmas morning at an elevation of 2845'
at Sassafras Mountain. At 12:10A it was 39.6 degrees and during the
night the temperature sharply dropped. Currently it is 22.5 degrees,
foggy and snowing and nothing on the radar! Streets are white and the
trees are covered with lovely snow! Barometer is headed up. Wind gusts
have been up to 29 mph. There must be a connection with fog making
snow, although I do not understand it yet.
