Flooding along the gulf coast continues. I dumped 3
1/2" out of my rain gauge yesterday here on Matagorda
Bay, and expect as much by 2300 tonight. Some of the
beach roads are covered with water, and a few cattle
have drowned. Oil field tank batteries and pump jacks
are cut off and lower communities along the beach in
Calhoun county Texas are hard to get into at this
time. Please stay dry...
