News Article:
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/wcom/20021102/we_wcom/south_texas_rain__coastal_flooding
"A tropical wave with showers and storms moving inland from the Bay of
Campeche and western Gulf into Mexico and South Texas, will combine with a
ridge of surface high pressure over Texas to keep strong east winds of 20
to 30 knots blowing over the Lower Texas Gulf waters. Rain continues to
feed north along the coast of Mexico. Extreme southern Texas has already
picked up between 2.5 and 7 inches and there have been several flash flood
warnings."
