In PA's southeast, the month of Sept. began with low fall temps of 60 & 70 for daytime highs, progressed to summer temps of 82, 84, 90, 90 and now is settling into normal fall temps 76,75,83. Rain in the forecast will be welcome in our drought parched area. Here on the mountain top in Pricetown{13 m E/NE of Reading} we have had 0.98" for the month. We have had some of the highest rainfalls for our area, perhaps because of our elevation.
