And today this report from the A.P.:

Apparent Tornado Damages Utah Houses (Associated Press)

"An apparent tornado took roofs off houses, brought down power lines and
uprooted trees Sunday, officials said. No injuries were immediately
reported. Manti residents reported seeing a funnel cloud touch down at
1:50 p.m., said a dispatcher for the Sanpete County sheriff's
office. Resident Alan Braitchwaite said the destruction was a block wide
and about 10 blocks long. The tornado took off roofs and shingles and sent
cars and a trailer airborne, he said. His house was not damaged."
