Heavy showers and thunderstorms most of yesterday dumped a much needed 1.41 inches of rain at my location in Presque Isle, Maine. The rain, however, has not lowered the fire danger around here. As of this morning the fire danger up here is a Class 4 or Very High. Across the western Maine mountains the fire danger is a Class 5 or Extreme!!
If you get a chance visit my website at http://www.crownweather.com and our tropical weather page at http://www.crownweather.com/tropical.html
