Pictures of the destruction are being broadcast on FoxNews and (I
assume) the Weather Channel this hour. Here are some photos:

I have been unable to find any information on this storm from the local
or national NWS sites. Here are some quotes from local media outlets.
The most comprehensive page I have run into at this time is this one
(Steve and I found it at the same time :)), it has photos and maps:

Apparent Tornado Strikes Ladysmith
9/3/2002
The City of Ladysmith was under severe weather warnings at 3:17 pm, and
about an hour later, a police officer observed what appeared to be a
tornado touchdown on the western city limits. Only minor injuries have
been reported. Two people who were originally thought to be missing were
located a few hours later. The damage stretches over 14 blocks, 3-4
blocks wide.

LADYSMITH (AP) -- A U-haul sits in the Federal Savings & Loan lobby. The
E-Z Stop’s roof is wrapped around a tree. The Baptist church is a pile
of rock.

The tornado that tore through this tiny northwestern Wisconsin town
Monday injured dozens of people and destroyed or damaged as many as 60
homes and businesses, Police Chief Norm Rozak said.
