Here in Northwest South Carolina, I recorded 1.14" of rain this
morning. This is much needed rain, as drought conditions still
prevail in this area, with all three of the large lakes in our area
several feet below normal. Several areas are reporting rain deficits
as much as 25" for the last three years.
