Record rains in New York's Capital District

STORM SYSTEM THAT SET DAILY PRECIP RECORD YESTERDAY AT KALY (Albany, NY) on 3/26
(1.49") also set record at my station depositing (2.66") of rain less than 12 hrs.. Temp hovered around 32*F
causing severe icing on trees & power lines resulting in many power disruptions. Last week Galway, NY received a total of 15.7" of snow with a water equivalent of 1.64". In less than 2 weeks a total of 4.30" of water greatly helped to lessen our current drought.
