I observed very high winds on the way home from work, estimated
35-45mph. Very high winds hit suddenly while the temperature was 45
degrees at 4:45pm; the rain turned to sleet and snow (let me tell you about
sleet hitting the skin with 45mph winds :)) immediately, it looked like a
hurricane, sheets of wind driven rain, sleet and snow pummelling the area,
the car rocking in the winds. The temperature fell from 46 to 36 in 5
minutes. We had to drive over some street signs to make it home.
