The cold front, with a line of heavy storms which ended up spawning more CG
lightning in PA at 10pm than was observed earlier with the storm, has
passed over WeatherMatrix HQ in central PA. When it did, we had wind gusts
over 40mph, a temperature drop of 10 degrees in just over 5 minutes, and
nearly a quarter inch of rain in about 5 minutes.
Prior to the storm, very gusty winds, commonly in the 30-40mph range,
battered the area for about 12 hours, during which time the pressure fell
from 30.15" to 29.60".
