Good afternoon,
Winter has returned to northern Illinois! Friday brought us a
wonderful 64 degrees, Saturday is not so nice. The high for today was 57
degrees at 0158. Thunderstorm came through under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch
overnight dropping temperatures to 25 degrees at 1400 hrs. Winds are very
strong sustained at 25-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Winds are expected to
continue into the night with a wind advisory in effect. Snow has spread over
the area as well. So much for an early spring!!
