From: Jesse Ferrell (jesse{at}weathermatrix.net)
Date: Tue Oct 30 2001 - 14:55:23 EST

"Across most of Southern California, there has been no measurable
rainfall since last spring. In Los Angeles, there has been no
significant rainfall in the past 190 days. This is the fifth longest dry
streak since 1921."

No more! Rain is falling in southern California on Wednesday.
