Winds in west Michigan are expected to gust today to as high as 65
MPH in addition to falling temps and chances for snow this evening.
6-10 inches of snow is falling today and another 5-9 tonight in the
western UP of Michigan. In addition, yesterday's storms blasted
through with 70+ MPH winds leaving a lot of damage and power
outages. Most damage consisted of trees blowing over. One man died
near Lansing Michigan as a tree blew over on to the cab of his
truck. Finally, an appartment building in northern Grand Rapids was
struck by lightning and burned leaving dozens homeless.
