The high temperature yesterday at the official climatological station at
Penn State University here in State College PA reported a high
temperature of 95 degrees.
This ties the highest temperature in the last 10 years at this station -
95 degrees also occured once in 1995 and 1999.
Today's predicted high temperatures according to WeatherMatrix Waterloo
are between 88 and 98, so we could break the 10-year record. The record
high for today, Wednesday, is 94, and we have a good chance at breaking
that record, set in 1930.
