It was very cold this morning in Pennsylvania, especially in contrast to
the "heat index >100" weather we had earlier this week. Many PA & NJ
forecasts for tonight include "...NEAR RECORD LOWS POSSIBLE TONIGHT..."
in the Zone Forecasts from the NWS.
The low this morning at WeatherMatrix HQ in State College PA was
47.0 °F {at} 05:48 am
breaking the local climo record of
49 °F in 1962

KPSU was 45, KUNV was 48.
The normally coldest spot in the state, St. Mary's, did not report last
night. The lowest temperature in the state was OSWAYO with 36.
