For the past 2 days here in Houston, heavy rainfall has caused minor to
sometimes major street flooding mainly on the east side of the city
where 38 inches fell 3 weeks ago today. Rainfall totals for the past 48
hours were around the 3" range with isolated totals between 5 & 6
inches.
The low pressure system over AR. is converging with the sea breeze from
the Gulf. This weather pattern is expected to be around till the middle
of next week.
These pop-up storms start at 3pm & usually end just before sunset(8pm).

Have a good weekend folks,,,,S
