Winchester VA
For the first time in 9 days, we had a fairly decent sunny day. Although
cirrus & haze obscured the sky, the sun was out until an or so before
sunset.

The low was only 57.1º (6:11am) and the high was 87.4º (at 3:40pm).
The southeast wind became south after 3pm & increased to about 10mph.
PWG was 18mph at 5:01pm.
The barometer fell over a 1/4 of an inch, from 30.25 to 29.97". DP's
were at 62º for the 2nd day in row.
Here were the temperatures in/near VA Mon, at 3pm, near time of the
daily high.

The local record [93º from 1960] stood intact. However 2 other VA
stations met their daily records.
Blacksburg 85º [tied from 1985]
Dulles 88º [old was 85º in 1995]
Well the tree's blossoming have surged in the past week. Monday, the
pollen count has caught up: here it was 825, in Washington Dc 750!
Here, my foliage is 50% of full size on most of the trees.
The walnut tree, which had buds on it last week, now has budding obvious
now.
