=> Severe Weather Probability Forecast
The forecast probability of an event is by the stated percentage or greater
for the event, within 25 miles of any point for the area described.
Tornado Risk - Slight
There is a 2% probability of a tornado over northeast South Carolinia and
far south North Carolina.
Hail Risk - Slight
There is a 5% probability of hail 3/4 inch or larger over extreme central
north through extreme
northeast Texas, central and the south southeast 1/2 of Oklahoma, and
Akansas except the far north
northeast and extreme southeast areas. Also extreme central south through
extreme southeast
Virginia, North Carolina except the far northwestern area, and south
Carolina except the south
southwest area.
The 15% probabilitiy area covers over extreme central north through extreme
northeast Texas, the
south southeast 1/3 of Oklahoma, and central west through west central
Arkansas. Also over
northeast South Carolina and far south North Carolina.
Wind Risk - Slight
There is a 5% probability of winds in excess of 50 knots over the northeast
1/3 of South Carolina,
southern North Carolina.
The 15% probability area is over northeast South Carolina and far south
North Carolina.
Tomorrow's Risk -
There is a 5% probability of any severe weather tomorrow over central west
Oklahoma, Arkansas
except the far southern area, northwest Mississippi, north northwest 1/3 of
Tennessee, Kentucky
except the eastern area, the southwest 1/2 of Indiana, Illinois except the
north northeast area, Iowa
except the north northeast 1/3 of the state, Nebraska except the northwest
1/4 of the state, north
northeast Kansas, and Missouri.
The 15% probability area covers the southeast 1/4 of Nebraska, far north
northeast Kansas, south

central and western Kentucky,
extreme northwest Tennessee, northeast Arkansas, and Missouri except the
southeast area.
The 25% probability area covers the northeast 2/5 of Missouri and the
southeast 1/3 of Illinois.
Eastern Oklahoma/Arkansas early in the period... Suggest that some potential
for elevated
thunderstorms with hail will exist through at least midday Monday over parts
of Arkansas/far eastern
Oklahoma and perhaps western ms. This threat should diminish with time as
heights rise over region
and diurnal/synoptic scale forcing redirect low level jet n and w toward the
cntrl plains. ...
Central Nebraska/northern Kansas east southeast into the mid ms/oh
valleys...
Strengthening/broadening of low level jet aimed toward warm frontogenetic
region extending east
southeast from Nebraska/northern Kansas will create a favorable setup for
elevated thunderstorms
across a large part of central plains/lower Missouri and mid ms valleys
later Monday and Monday
night.
Day Three's Risk -
There is a 5% probability of any severe weather on day 3 over central and
the southeast 1/2 of
Nebraska, the southern 2/3 of Iowa, Illinois except the far northern area,
Indiana except the
northeast 1/4, far southwest Ohio, Kentucky, the north northwest 1/2 of
Tennessee, the western 2/3
of Mississippi, the northern 1/2 of Louisiana, northeast Texas, eastern
Oklahoma, and the northeast
1/3 of Kansas.
The 15% probability area covers southeast Nebraska, far northeast Kansas,
south southwest Iowa,
central and northern Missouri, and central south through central west
Illinios. Also over far northeast
