Cape Coral - Fort Myers is going to stay in the mid-high 80's, but there is
no rain in the foreseeable future. The most chance I have heard is maybe 5
percent on Sunday. Fire indexes are skyrocketing. Hendry and Charlotte
Counties are up into the 680's - over 700 is rare but it looks like it will
be reached. Lee County is over 600 but not as high as these two counties.
Enforcement of strict water restrictions is increasing as 31 new enforcement
officers are being hired in the Lee County area.
Richard Macomber- Cape Coral, FL (Beautiful weather, nice breeze, but it is
DRY).
