Saturday was increasingly cloudy, & virga fell at times after noon into
the overnight hours. It was chilly, & little of the leftover snow from
Thursday melted. The low was 27.2º, at 6:45am, & high of 41.5º, at
3:35pm. The PWG was 16mph, at 11:59pm. Low windchill was 15 at 9:07pm.

This Dulles bound jet was under the cloud base Sat, but still in the
snow falling from it.

At 2pm Sunday, WV & western PA was warmer than the coastal plane. Even
in the Shenandoah Valley, it was 58 here in Winchester, 53 in
Martinsburg WV, & 48 in Hagerstown MD, separated by only 40 miles (S to
N). Many western areas were near 70! And here in nw VA, we were among
the warmest readings of the state!

On Sunday, rain fell between 9 and 10:15am, accumulating .12". The
months melted precip total is 1.1". The low was 36.7º at 12:42am, the
high was 62.7º, at 3:44pm. Temperatures continued near 60 into late
evening. The barometer fell a half inch, from 30.35 to 29.85". A sharp
rise in the DP, from 22 to 53º. Humidity fell from 100% this am, to
38% later in the day. A PWG of 21 mph was at 11:34pm, w/ a low windchill
of 17º at 12:32am.
Today will be mild but windy. The next chance of snow is Tue night/Wed.
