Evening, All!!
Had 3 inches measured of snow by this morning. Woke to clear blue skies and
breezy--could see the snow blowing around in places. On the way to Walmart
after church this afternoon, saw a snow dervish in a cornfield--had a pretty
good rotation to it, too!!
Currently 27 degrees out, with wind chills in the teens from the westerly
winds in the 10-15 mph range. Barometer is 30.31 and steady--dew point is
15 degrees and dropping (just dropped from 16 as I watched) and the humidity
is 60%. Getting dry out, and is supposed to be a C-O-L-D evening tonight,
with temps getting down in the teens and wind chills in the singles. Wonder
if school's will be delayed in the AM because of black ice. Gotta get up
early to see the early news on that one.
Lynn--my church is having a Superbowl party after the evening service next
week, which they moved back from 6pm to 5:15--a member has a large screen TV
and will bring it in and set it up in the Fellowship Hall and there'll be
munchies, too--can't wait!!! Should be loads of fun and most everyone'll be
rooting for the Ravens!! Go Ravens!!
Jerry--congrats on your new acquisition of a digital camera--I was
eyeballing one in Walmart today and decided to wait a while longer--nice
picture and VERY cute snow stick--where ever did you get it?? Is there any
place that sells snow sticks like that??? I haven't found one, and use my
yard and a half stick to step outside and do spot measures.
Y'all take care and stay warm!!
