Winter has arrived just in time for Christmas......Here in Ashe County (NW
North Carolina at the TN / VA border I received just under 6 inches of snow
yesterday....This morning snow was blowing and drifting with winds up to 36
MPH. At 7:09 this morning the temperature was 4 degrees and at 6:43 our
wind-chill dipped to -40.4 degrees. Most roads are in good shape since the
wind is keeping them clear except where snow is drifting across the road.
Current conditions at 10:30 AM
23.2 degrees, Wind S {at} 5, Barometer 29.99 Rising, clear sky
