After 8 days of abnormally warm weather in the low 80's/upper 60's range,
old man winter began a comeback on Sunday 12/17/00, two days later then my
original forecast of 12/15/00, issued back on 11/26/00.
High temps. today only reached the upper 30's to low 40's across the north
and low to mid 60's across central. For tomorrow morning we should see mid
to upper teens across the north, mid to upper 20's north central and low to
mid 30's central.
With a another cold front arriving on Tuesday 12/19 and then again on on
12/24, even colder weather is promised. For Wednesday morning 12/20, we
should see a hard freeze north and north central, a freeze across central
and near freezing to the northern Everglades. Christmas Day looks like a
hard freeze through central areas and a freeze into the southern peninsula.
Take Care,
