At Noon, December 3, moderate snow continues to fall at Rocky Mount. Snow
began around 6 AM and has continued without letup. Snow accumulation in the
downtown area is 5 inches. More is expected this afternoon with heavier
amounts in the Rocky Mount-Tarboro-Roanoke Rapids area. Storm totals should
be in the 8 to 10 inch range. Snow should end sometime between 8 PM and
Midnight.
