Reminder Notice to All Recipients of Tropical Notices, Warnings and Alerts.

As Director of Education - Robert Patterson BSc, and on behalf of CANADIAN
Environmental Science and Research Group I welcome you to a non-profit,
charitable organization that provides services such as storm alerts, research
and other non-profit services to any interested group. Our team of
climatogists and researchers are committed to serving the Caribbean and so
conducting credible research into the Oceanic, Atmospheric and Astronomical
List of Indices for Hurricanes and other Environmental anomalies. Recently,
Mr. T. Kowdrysh BSc., MSc. Eng. with experience at the National Aeronautic and
Space Administration (Jet Propulsion) and The Canada Arm project joined our
group as Manager of Research.

Our Directors and its research members acknowledge that the National Hurricane
Center in Miami FL. (NOAA) and your own proprietary system are in place with
governing guidelines. Once again it is our message to you that it is not our
intention to replace those official agencies. However, CANADIAN Environmental
Science and Research Group believes that we can operate as a comparative
organization to provide tropical weather alerts, research and other non-profit
services to any interested group.

The directors have instituted guidelines for our watch groups most of which
can be found at our web site. However, the most recent directive is extremely
important for our researchers and especially for the recipients of our
Messages. As of August 22, 2000 "When a government within it's jurisdictional
area or one of its accredited agencies issues a Weather Warning(s) that
message or messages shall restrict CANADIAN Environmental Science and Research
Group Alerts. As a result of those messages CANADIAN Environmental Science and
Research Group shall cease further information within that government's venue
unless otherwise authorized in writing by an authoritative person representing
a group or a group of individuals. The cessation period shall be for no less
than eighteen hours (18) and thereafter messages may be restarted by the
Manager of Research or his alternate".

Finally, this directive is in response to our teams concern about interfering
with your government's official disaster plans and emergency preparedness.
Also, be advised that our group is preparing plans to be in the Caribbean for
part of the 2001 Hurricane Season.
