Well, we are still here. While standing outside waiting for all the wind and
rain and terrible storm to come and join me an my lil island I am staying
on, nothing AT ALL happened...I was really under the impression that we
would at least got some rain, or even wind..
While watching the weather channel, sitting at the radio station, I heard
them say "Well hurricane Debby is Battering St.Maarten"now, battering ????
I asked myself, what are these guys looking at? We had birds flying around.
I some times have to wonder what the hurricane center really does out
there...During Luis that hit here 6 years ago, the inland was totally
devistated, I was in the U.S at the time, I even had to call the t.v
station just to get anyone to find out what was going on over here, coz the
weather channel sure wasn't saying much, Luis was packed FULL of tornado's
that no one even talked about....
Anyway, lil Debbie was not as bad as it looked, I think everything was up so
high that us lil people down here didn't feel a thing :)
