A severe thunderstorm that had wind gusts to near 70 mph slammed the metro
Atlanta area last night and reportedly dumped a much needed 3-4 inches of
rain. Several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued along the storms
path. Local Meteorologists were telling people in the Metro area to seek
immediate shelter, and be on the look out for flooding especially in low
lying areas.
