CESAR Group Canada Watch Area Alert: is being cancelled after analysing real
time Visible, Infrared and Vapour imagery is indicating very little intense
cell activity. The severe activity that is occurring is south of 10N pathing
westerly and being sheared by destructive vertical wind shear. Near real time
imagery indicates winds aloft at 800-950 Mb - 4000ft are 38-32 Knots westerly
with gusts of 48-52 Knots. Low clouds are predominant throughout the Leeward
and Windward Islands. This notice supersedes all severe weather advisories.
SPECIAL NOTE: CANADIAN Environmental Science and Research Group again
(April 18 and July 5, 2000) leads the Forecast for the Hurricane Season Year
2000.
