I love these weather reports and anecdotes, but it would be very helpful if
everyone gave the LOCATION for where you are reporting. There are hints
that this report is for Virginia but the locale is not clear until the
specific sites are listed toward the end of the report.
Out west here in Bellingham, Washington we have had a cool, showery
spring following a relatively dry winter, but the snow is still several to
many vertical feet deep in the Cascade Mountains.

Subject: [STORMREPORTS] Rain siege ends, some sun Mon
Hello everyone,
We were ready for a wet Mon as well, but had broken sunshine at times
(about 20% of possible). Overnight drizzle totalled .04", bringing the
13 day siege to 2.15", and the month 2.71". Their has been only 2 days
w/ no measurable rain. since the 13th. The high managed to reach 65,
after the low of 51.
For the heat lovers, a few near 90 degree days are forecast (Thur/Fri),
and of course the next rain threat will be the weekend.
The local paper mentions my name in todays edition. They needed rain
data since their regular source was not available. I believe the
reporter transposed the numbers i gave him on previous 2 week rain total
(he says it was 2.5, even though i added it up, at 2.15")

And to prove how soggy it has been, here is the 30 day accumulated rain
totals for the mid Atlantic. The Sterling VA had not reset during the
last 2 weeks, and max totals on it's screen was 12", w/ widespread 3"
amounts common, including one location in my county.
