Hi Folks!

Well, yesterday was the warmest day of the New Year (so far) for Lanham, MD.
I recorded a high temperature of 76 degrees yesterday, and by midnight, the
temperature had fallen to 47 degrees, and had 1.15 inches of rain in the ol'
rain gauge, compliments of the rain and the cold front passing through. At
my little WX station, the high for the 3rd was 69 and on the 2nd, the high
was 68. By this morning, the temp had dropped to 36 degrees, making it a 40
degree drop in about 12 hours. Adding the wind to the equation (10-20 mph),
the wind chill is probably in the teens or 20's. BRRR!!! Had to change
coats AGAIN!! Definitely what my grandma calls "pneumonia weather"!! No
wonder the flu bug is having a field day!! :-(
