Well, the forecasters in the Washington, DC area are issuing a Winter Storm
Watch for this weekend. Here's what they have to say...

MORE STORMS IN OUR FUTURE
(AP) The National Weather Service has now issued a winter storm watch for
late Saturday and Sunday in the Baltimore-Washington area. Forecasters now
expect it to begin as snow with 1-to-3 inches of accumulation possible. On
Sunday morning, it'll change over to sleet, mixing with freezing rain at
times. By Sunday night, that mess will change back to snow before ending
Monday morning, with a few more inches possible.
Meteorologist Wes Junker says the storm will be bringing freezing rain to
Atlanta Friday and Saturday. By the time the Super Bowl kicks off there
Sunday evening, the storm will be our problem. He also says the storm will
ultimately affect weather conditions in Philadelphia, New York and New
England.
Forecasters say the jet stream is tracking further to the south than usual,
which is why we're getting more storm from the southwest. Those storms have
all the moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. Experts believe that trend will
continue for the next month.

WINTER STORM WATCH FOR LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY...SNOW IS LIKELY WELL
AFTER MIDNIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT. THE SNOW COULD MIX WITH...OR CHANGE TO SLEET
AND FREEZING RAIN DURING THE DAY SUNDAY.
RIGHT NOW IT IS TOO EARLY TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH SNOW OR ICE WILL
ACCUMULATION. THE WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THAT SIGNIFICANT SNOW OR ICE
ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE. IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT WILL OCCUR.
Should be an interesting weekend, to say the least!! :-D
