Frigid Winter Weather At CASI HQ January 11, 1999 |
|
Brutal winter weather
continued at CASI HQ this week. Observed temperatures were in the
single digits with snow. See CASI1 Weather Station capture from 8am
and 8pm below. Notice on this PA
Temperature Analysis that very warm air lurked just to the SW of
HQ (center of PA) and that the gradient across one county was nearly
25 degrees. This type of warm air invasion at high elevations from the
SW has accompanied nearly every storm in 1999 so far.
