| At 9:10pm SKYWARN member spotted a water spout around Tampa Bay, a marine watch was in effect. Heavy rains, some street flooding, lightning caused some minor power outage. An attempt to go into the direct storm resulted in having to turn around due to lack of visual. When I had left the storm, I could see from a distance a dark sky (it was after sunset), and lots of lightning flashes and loud thunder. The CB weather station indicated it was a severe storm with heavy winds gusting from 14-20mph. |
